Honolulu Whale Watching Excursions
Enjoy a beautiful cruise in search of Hawaii’s migratory Humpback Whales on one of our Oahu whale watching trips. Humpback whales visit Hawaii every winter to raise their young in our warm and protected waters. From December until April we can view these amazing mammals while they swim in our coastal waters. Humpback whales are known for their arial breaches when they fly out of the water and into the air, making an enormous splash when they land back in the water. Although Hawaii is the perfect location for Humpback whales to give birth and raise their young, there is no food for the whales in Hawaii. At the end of the winter season they make the long migration back to Alaska to feed and replenish their fat stores. If you are lucky enough to be in Hawaii during our winter humpback whale season we would love to invite you onboard for one of our Honolulu whale watching trips.
Our whale watching trips depart from Kewalo Basin Boat Harbor which is just about 2 miles outside of Waikiki. You can enjoy viewing the whales from our double decker boat with a large open bow for viewing all around the vessel. Our whale watching boat carries a maximum of 49 passengers. Snacks, sodas, juices and water are all provided free of charge on all of our trips.
